Little Lambs Day Nursery provides high quality childcare for babies and children up to the age of five.Little Lambs Day Nursery provides high quality childcare for babies and children up to the age of five, with a dedicated and hard-working team that want to ensure a smooth transition from home to nursery for your child. We mirror routines from home to nursery and really get to know our families to create that home from home feel, where we ultimately become an extension of your family!
 Formerly known as IntoPlay, our nursery setting is located within the area of Longlevens, close to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and Gloucester City Centre, as well as having good access to the M5 and other areas such as Innsworth, handy for working families that commute to and from their work.
We know that children learn best when they’re having lots of fun. We’ve created environments in all our rooms where they can do just that. Our team believe in giving children exciting, fun experiences every day, with activities based around their likes and interests – encouraging their natural curiosity and as a result turning them into happy, confident little learners. We get to know your child and how they learn, this, in turn, helps us to shape our planning to create activities and experiences through what they are engaged in the most, for them to flourish in our care and achieve their full potential.
Our spacious gardens provide safe, all-weather play that give our children the opportunity to learn, play and develop their physical skills come rain or shine, all our rooms have access to the gardens and offer great opportunities for free flow play.
We work hard to build strong relationships with our parents to help give our children the best possible start. One of the ways we do this is by giving you access to your child’s very own online learning journal. This easy-to-use resource gives you valuable insights into your child’s learning and development journey through nursery. Equally as important, we’re always available for daily chats about your little one’s progress. Our robust key person system allows your child to have someone as a close point of contact as well as most importantly, your child to build those special bonds which are so very important.
Our Management Team
The owners of Little Lambs Day Nursery are Rachael & Tony who live locally in Gloucestershire and are proud parents of four young boys. Rachael and her family have been involved in early years care for nearly 25 years.
As well as Little Lambs Day Nursery they also run Nursery Rhymes Day Nursery in Leckhampton, Cheltenham, a very successful nursery, which Rachael co-owns with her father and sister.
Due to the success of Nursery Rhymes Day Nursery and with such positive feedback from parents they decided to branch out to provide the same high levels of care and attention at another location, combined with the personal touch that comes from being a small family owned business.
